My personal pick being Arty due to the massive amount of push-immunity allowing you to greed entire rotations where most classes would have to reposition or dodge. 8.Deathblade, shadow hunter, berserker, sorc are really fun to level, because they don't require you to think at all during the leveling phase, it's just a straight playstyle with eye-candy skills. Nice, that sounds right up my alley. Sorc looks super fun but I worry the experience may be too similar to artillerist.I would say Blue Gunlancer, very fun - has a good build for chaos. Immortal in most content minus raid wipe mechs. Some people don't like backward dash, so you have to remember that too. I also love Scrapper (i play Shock), imho more fun than Glavier. Cheapest to gear would be probably Demonhunter.I'm probably biased but shadow hunter is some of the most fun I've had in a long time. I went from Berserker to Soulfist. I may MVP way more on Berserker but Soulfist is so damn fun and satisfying, gives off such a strong Dragonball vibe. Striker and wardancer are classes that require huge amount of stats with wealth runes, cooldown gems, lot of tripods for more elemental generation and specialisation etc. I'm a striker 1080 and I can finally start doing combo without being out of cooldown and making it feel very active. Don't give up !Deathblade is really fun. I feel like I'm playing a Bayonetta/DMC type of game where I try to go for the most stylish kills possible without letting the enemies touch the ground. Also the skills just flow really well together. It's a lot less "assassin" than I was expecting, but it's still really fun. Honorable mentions are Paladin and Sorc..
